What can I say... superb! Fine fare cooked to perfection. Lovely fish, crispy chips and plenty of food in each generous portion. To the folk who complain about waiting, these guys are busy for a reason. The best chippys have the longest queues. Avoid places where you're served immediately! Definitely recommend.
To all the bad reviewers, if you want fancy fast food, go to London or the big city. I've been here 4 years and this is the best fast food I've found. Large portions and fresh. I'm going again tonight, 4th time in 2 weeks!
Really poor. Used to be great in the past but whether management has changed or not I don’t know…chips undercooked, fish greasy. Mushy peas was more pea soup! Wouldn’t recommend.
Me and my sister hadn't been here in. While food is usually fresh and served with a smile I ordered battered sausage want as fresh as normal my sister had haddock it was cold and chips were not hot and dry and my friend had kebab and it wasn't fresh at all he got upset stomach I don't know what happend it usually really good in there and it was empty the service was good from one of the staff the other was spending more time on his phone and I doubt it was business call this chippy has gone down hill.
Great food used to come here a lot was always busy but I've not seen it about since March any news when your re opening?
The portions are good and the staff are friendly, but blimey you have to wait!
At prime cooking time on Friday and Saturday nights, there shouldn't be a wait for cod n chips?
TBH a 20 Mon wait for F&C ain't good enough, even when phoned through its not ready. Could do better lads!!

I don't know what's happened, but their used be a really chatty guy there that served good food, really good food, great kebabs, juicy meat, fish that wouldn't even fit in the box, now the portions are small, even for the large cos its all I eat and the kebabs are dry. I can't believe I'm saying this but it's gone worse than c2g in town!!! Never going again. The batter is bitter and the the sald on the kebabs has gone like doorsteps.
