Very friendly, welcoming and helpful.||Large room with comfortable bed and good en-suite. |Well equipped with TV, WIFi , table and chairs etc. |En-suite had toiletries and room had free water in bottles. |Excellent advice provided for local eateries.|Breakfast choices were like a full supermarket range of cereals, jams, spreads etc plus a generous cooked breakfast.
Maghernahar House is an excellent B & B, very clean, friendly, quiet, and generous with food. Martin kept urging us to eat more, and the rooms have biscuits / cookies and bottles of water. We slept well there, in rural quiet amid the sounds of many birds. You will need a car or a taxi to get out to Maghernahar House; it is about 10-12 min from the centre of Ballycastle. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely stay here. Martin, our host, was very welcoming and gracious. Our stay was quiet and comfortable and included a lovely breakfast in the morning. Would defiantly stay again!
We spent 1 night at Martin's B&B and regretted not booking an extra night there. The room was spacious with 2 twinbeds, everything was spotless and clean. Big bathroom with complimentary shampoo/conditioner and toothpaste. The breakfast was just wonderful with a big selection of cereals, fresh berries, yogurts, juice and Martin was almost disappointed that we didn't want any eggs and bacon. And it was really quiet there. Not a sound :-)||Definitely one of the best places that I have ever stayed at. ||Thanks Martin for a great stay. Your hospitality and place are really awesome.
Very friendly staff and a lovely rural setting. Close to lots of attractions and not far out of Ballycastle. Room extremely comfortable and spacious. Lovely big shower
The owner is very friendly. He looks after you all the time. Very nice place to stay, cleand and warm welcoming. Everything is in nearby what you want to see. An absolute perfect B&B!
We had a very pleasant stay at the Maghernahar house. The room is spacious and clean. Every detail in the room is perfect. The breakfast is just superb. There are at least 15 types of cereal to choose from, and also loads of fresh fruits. We got good recommendation from Michelle on restaurant and a scenic route back to Belfast. We just loved it.
Positive: Very nice house with lovely owners. We stayed there only one night, and it was the most pleasant stay of the whole holiday. The place is great for visiting natural sights of Northern Ireland like Giant's causeway or the Rope bridge. You can also arrange some very nice walking trips around..
