Great evening with Maggie, Aimi & Lucy at The Potting Shed last night.
Fabulous food, nice warm welcome (and fires!).
Always feels special being here. Highly recommended - if this place was in London, you would need to book months in advance.
Ps: The breakfasts here are superb too.
I was taken here by a friend and we had a lovely lunch and catch up. I had no idea it was there until she offered to take me there. It was fab, great menu I had pork belly and my friend had a fabulous plate of fish and chips. I hope to return with my husband at some point. Great idea and place if you can find it! SSH it’s a secret!
Hidden Gem. Had breakfast here today. Staff were super friendly. Food was delicious. Will go back and have lunch there soon. Could not fault it. Great value for money too.
Quite loud on a weekend. Came in for just a drink and could hardly hear each other. A couple dogs barking didn't help much. Food looked lovely however it was nearly closing time so ended up leaving after having a drink.
Have had several breakfasts here when meeting friends, good value and nice food, next stop - lunch!
Regularly go for Sunday breakfast, as it's always good. Well priced, clean and very welcoming. Love the log burner when it's cold.
After months of being recommended, we finally visited the Potting Shed for lunch with high expectations and were not disappointed.
Excellent food, friendly service in a welcoming atmosphere.
And the loos were spotless - a huge bonus in my book.
We will definitely be back.
Four of us had meals in the potting shed on Thursday September 7th.
We all thought the meals were fantastic.
I can honestly say my "2" breakfast was the best breakfast I had ever had. One of us also thought his cod & chips etc, also the best he'd had.
We all would like to thank everyone at The Potting Shed for such a brilliant meal etc
