Lovely little tea room featuring lots of Alice in wonderland themed decor, including a tea set attached to the ceiling
We opted for the afternoon tea which including a choice of cake.
This was for my daughters birthday and she was happy with the location. She enjoyed the food and the staff were happy to box up the leftovers for us.
Overall a nice little tea room.
Today was my third time coming here over a period of the year for afternoon tea and each and every time it does not disappoint ! The staff are lovely, food is amazing and everything is very good value for money! The staff don’t mither you but they’re there if you need them! Photo doesn’t do it justice. Perfect for a catch up with someone. Can’t wait to come back , 10/10 :)
Me and my daughter went for afternoon tea, it was a cute and cosy tea house. Friendly service, the scenery was unique and the food was delicious. There was a large range of cakes to choose from and the hot drinks were tasty.
We visited for my mom’s birthday and had 2 afternoon teas (1 was vegan). The staff were friendly and my mom enjoyed her afternoon tea. Unfortunately, the extra £3 for the vegan option was disappointing. There was no vegan alternatives such as cheese and cream, the sandwich fillings were thin slices of red pepper and cucumber (one of the sandwiches had no filling at all), the scone was served without jam or cream and the chocolate rice crispy cake was stale. I also had to ask for a vegan alternative milk and ask to see if there would be vegan cream for the scone and then had to ask for jam as none was provided. For the extra cost of this it wasn’t worth it at all and I wouldn’t advise visiting if you have vegan dietary requirements, which is a real shame when it is a service that is offered and charged more for.
Visited for breakfast on a cold day, but it was very cold inside as no heating on and had to sit with coats on. Breakfast was nice with good service. Think it would of been better if was later on in the day and given it chance to fill up and warm up. Afternoon cakes and tea look very nice and think that would be a better option than the breakfast, so will try that next time.
Chairs and tables were dirty. No one was having a bad day and it's very rude for you to say. This is here for us to leave reviews it's not the customers problem you don't accept that review. The fixtures and fittings are hanging off the walls and celling. We was in a rush to get out of there the cakes were all put in the bin. No one was rude! We questioned the price as we have every right too after receiving cheap ham and a bit chesse for 87 pound. I could of refused to pay you that would of been rude.
Your response to my mum is not acceptable at all. Honest reviews are part of running a business.
Have a nice day.
So me and my friend went on Saturday and the moment we walked in, we knew it wasn't going to go well. You get so little food for such a high price, we shared stuff so was expecting to pay for just one person which wasn't the case. Very packed and no space, we were shoved on a table in the corner which was right next to the kitchen. To get to the toilet you had to walk though the kitchen, very small. Wasn't worth the price and energy and we will not be going again. Did not enjoy it at all, we expected more and it really wasn't good. The cake we also had wasn't what it said on the display. Also the table behind kept shoving into me every 5 seconds and felt so uncomfortable. Not good at all!
A lovely little tea room with great decor. Food was cooked fresh and was very hot and tasty. Highly recommend.
