Fantastic shop, I went in today with my father in law to buy a Santoku kitchen knife. The gentleman serving us spent a lot of time explaining and showing us/ letting us hold a large variety. He made us feel important. Perfect customer service to be fair. My FIL bought a knife and was happy with the choice. A great experience shopping
Sadly I do not feel valued or welcome in this beautiful shop.
I always support local shops rather than buy on the Internet. It often costs me more but I believe it is important to spend/buy in our town.
This shop is very well stocked and sells good quality goods..... If only it were a more pleasant experience to shop in!

Prices are good & at the moment they have King Charles Coronation mugs & tea towels in until they sell out

Beautiful shop that I love to show to foody friends (I am local), but I HATE shopping there. It is unpleasant and clicky. I was disappointed to receive yet another birthday gift voucher from this shop, because it means I have to go in there. I now have two gift vouchers and a total dread of shopping in a local shop that makes me feel awful. So unwelcoming, I feel like an intruder.
