This is one for the "Rogue Traders Team". Firstly, you do not get a receipt for any monies paid ! (Tax Office take note) The set-up is the Proprietor and two young "Trainees". They undertook a minor electrical wiring installation. On collecting the vehicle and driving home my rear lights were not working. I returned to the garage and the Proprietor proceeded to pull the electrical connections they had undertaken apart (They had only be joined with insulation tape and not connectors) so in order to restore my rear lights. I was asked to return at 3 pm on a day the following week and assured the problem was simple and would be resolved within 10 minutes. When arriving at this appointment I was told by one of the trainees that the owner was not there and they knew nothing about it ! I returned home and made two phone calls , still being told the Proprietor was not available. I visited the garage again a couple of days later to attempt to get this resolved then being told by the Trainee that they were fully booked for a week. After two more visits I eventually got to see the Proprietor. I was now about to go on holiday for two weeks, so I agreed to give him access to my vehicle for that two weeks with a point and contact to pick up the keys and I was assured that the problem would be resolved by the time I returned. However, on my return nothing had been done. So I then telephoned four times over a period of three days when I was repeatedly told by the trainees that he had either nipped out or was busy with a customer. Eventually, I insisted on a return call urgently - four days later iv'e had no call or any response . It is now over 6 weeks on and it is clear that this set up is not one based on genuine or honest intentions or any sense of professional conduct.. Having experienced this and observed how the work was originally undertaken. I am to PAY AGAIN have the work undertaken again elsewhere. If you value SAFETY, proper workmanship and honesty then do not use this "outfit".
Can honestly say that I have been using this garage for about a year now with great success. Never had an issue and I have never felt like I have been over charged, which unusual for any garage.
Top bloke mark will help with anything, dont listen to bad reviews as he is nothing like that, call at anytime n he will fit my car in!
