Despite the poor reviews we chose to order, by telephone, ready in super quick time, the rice was fresh, chicken was perfectly cooked and the flavour was great, love the optional fresh onion.
Poppadoms crisp and tasty, we will deffinatley be going back.
Really disappointed. Fancied a curry, haven't had one in ages. This was chewy chicken, watery sauce and Luke warm at best had to ping in the microwave. Left most of it, One of the worse meals we have had in ages. Will not return. Shame cinnamon Bay has gone.
27th April. This place may have a 5star food hygiene rating, but the food is absolutely foul. If I could give zero star I would. After spending £40.90 on a takeaway today, got it home, poppadoms were stale, maybe 2 days old, found a nice long hair in the prawn biryani, added unwanted extra. Veg curry completely tasteless, saag bhaji inedible due to being saturated in oil. Rice was soggy and overcooked. Wasted a lot of money for a meal that went in the bin. This place should really be avoided at all costs.
Our meal was chicken tika masala, king prawn pathia, king prawn biryani, rice, saag, bombay potatoes and poppadoms.
If you read these reviews, please heed this one, quite possibly the worst Indian meal we have ever had in over 35 years. This one really takes the title, worst in class.
Please AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Had Currys from here a few times that why I went back as never had a bad vegetable curry from them
But today it was to say the least absolute awful ????
Veg curry had onion and potato in it nothing else and very watery.
Chicken korma had chicken that was really hard and no taste
Shame as it was my favourite place for Indian
Maybe they have changed chef ????????????
Decided to try this evening and really wished we hadn't!
Tasteless and dry chicken did not taste like chicken at all had a awful after taste onion Barry were chewy and dry threw food in bin
Overall will not be returning ! Nearly 50 pound wasted !
I have used this place for years and always enjoy their curries. Good size portions and they never get the order wrong. Meal is prepared quickly as well and great value for money, would highly recommend this takeaway.
Some of the best food around the area! Love this place and highly recommend. Major props to the chef, think his name is Akram? Get yourself down there for some great food.
The worst Indian takeaway I've ever had. The Chicken Tikka Masala was so bland and greasy. The garlic and cheese naan was stone cold. All of the food had to be microwaved when we got home (6 mins travelling time, and the order was collected on time). We won't be going again and will look elsewhere next time. I wouldn't leave this review lightly as small takeaways can often be the best, however this was not pleasant and most went in the bin!
