The reason I chose and stuck with this garage can be told in this short story experience with them:
In 2010 I relocated to Lowestoft and one afternoon found my car had no lights working whatsoever.
I know absolutely nothing about cars beyond refuelling and changing a wheel.
I use the car for my business, it was Autumn and would be dark within a few hours, meaning I would not be able to drive to any of my customers.
I looked in the Waveny advertiser for garages but every one I called said it would be several days until they could fit me in.
I had remembered seeing this little corner garage on College Road whilst driving to my customers and decided to see if they could fit my car earlier.
I managed to speak to the manager and principal mechanic and he was very happy to have a quick look at my car.
He examined the cars light bulbs in turn, took one away and replaced one of the bulbs with a new one, and to my amazement the lights then all worked.
He explained what the problem had been and I asked him how much I owed him and he replied 'just £2 for the bulb'
At that point I knew I had found a garage I could trust and depend on because he could have asked me for £50 and I wouldn't have been able to refuse since he had fixed the fault or he could have pretended the electrics had gone, taken the car in overnight, charged me £300 and I would have been none the wiser.
I think anyone reading this will now see why I would highly recommend this garage.

Excellent garage. Very friendly and helpful family run business . I've been using them for almost a year now, just a pity I hadn't used them earlier as I would have saved myself time and money!
