I have recently finished a course of treatment at the Lowerbank Dental practice for an upper jaw full implant set.
It started in early 2023 with a visit to Mr David Quinn, Lowerbank’s implant specialist.
At the consultation meeting Mr Quinn fully outlined my options which were regular dentures, removable implants, or fixed implants. He went on to explain the procedures in full, what would be my expectations, how long each of the options would take and the costs. I left the surgery that day feeling very confident and able to make a decision on which path to take, I chose the removable option.
As you can imagine this is quite a long procedure over several months with many visits. I had scans, teeth removal and the implant work and I have to say I was quite anxious prior to it all starting ....... I really needn’t have worried. Mr Quinn was superb!
At every visit, that day’s procedure was explained to me in full and I can honestly say the whole treatment was completely pain free.
This sort of work involves many visits, a lot of surgery and comes at a price but with my results and my new smile I can definitely say it was worth every penny.
Finally, all the staff at lowerbank including reception and Mr Quinn’s assistants were excellent ..... all in all 5 Stars.
I moved over to Lowerbank after alot of trouble with an NHS dentist who filled a tooth wrong and ended up in alot of pain. Philip was great and did my root canal pain free, and had no issues with it since. I have stayed with Lowerbank ever since and will continue to do so.

Staff cancelled my appointment without me knowing all because I asked if they had any availability sooner and when told, no I responded with okay leave it untouched for now and keep the appointment but somehow it was cancelled instead. Half day off work gone to waste and no sympathy for staff.
I should note I've been to this dentist for years and been seen by Colin however this seems to have been a one off and hopefully not repeated
EDIT - -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Susan the Practice Manager contacted me the next day and apologised for the error on behalf of the practice and has now offered a free replacement appointment.
Very quick to respond and very polite, Thankyou Susan.
Took my money for an emergency, kept talking, said they’d do XYZ did not do it cleaned a few teeth instead. Left me in agony. Fobbed me off.
If it was possible to give them zero stars that is what they deserve.
Great service as always from this dentist. Happy to recommend. They are worth travelling to if you don’t live locally. Public car park right next door is a bonus.
I had the first check up appointment with my new dentist, Rebecca, today. She was friendly, professional & although no treatment was necessary this time, explained everything in detail. I wish her all the best in her future at Lowerbank.
Staff and dentist are very friendly. I've always been able to get an appointment very quickly when I have an urgent problem. There can be a long delay in getting a routine appointment for follow-on treatment. The place is clean and tidy and gives the feeling that everything is well managed.
The level of care, warmth and understanding at Lowerbank is exceptional. Mr Hussain is a particular highlight and very accommodating of anxious patients. Keep up the good work all ????
