So happy this place has opened, what a genuinely great local business. Service was good, the lady behind the counter was real friendly and polite.
The food is phenomenal. We had the slow cooked lamb pie and the curry mutton pie - both packed with flavour and properly full of filling, no sad half-empty pies here. The lamb was tender and sweet, the curry mutton was perfectly spiced and hearty. The pastry was stand-out too, golden and crisp. The jacket mash was creamy and smooth. The garlic mushy peas were surprisingly good - I don't even normally like mushy peas but they add a nice zingy note to the meal that cuts through the rich flavours.
Also to note: the bigger sized pies are massive and really filling, they're great value if you're hungry.

Came in to grab a quick lunch and greeted by friendly staff, served very quickly.
The pies were phenomenal, hot and fresh with the perfect amount of spice. Hot wings were to die for, perfectly cooked chicken in a sweet and spicy sauce. Cheesy mash jacket is perfect for anyone that needs to cool down the spice.
My only complaint would be for some thicker gravy/sauce in the pies but still worth a visit for a delicious affordable lunch!

I had so much optimism about this place we traveled over an hour's drive to try the Carribbean pies which were reviewed at 5 stars hmmm. On receipt of the food the pies were luke warm not piping hot as it should be soggy on the bottom and not crisp, the garlic peas were flavoursome but dry and mega in portions about a table spoon per cup lol for £1.75 cough cough, the mash wasn't heated through lumpy not mashed and fluffy...the dinning area cold and dark and unwelcoming a little background music would have been good. I feel this business has not quite got there with the finishing touches food prep portion sizes and dining experience. Very disappointed.
Thank you for such a unique, delicious pie. I tried the brown stew chicken pie, and it was yummy. The customer service was good, and the place was packed for a grand opening. The L'extase punch is a creeper and was delicious! I will be back! Congratulations! I wish this business all the best!

We went again 2024 and had the mutton and chicken pies. Amazing flavours and the meat was succulent and just delicious. My favourite is the mutton pie. Have recommended and will visit again.
Visited yesterday evening (4th Nov 2023). It was very busy and I was really impressed with the polite service provided. Was not able to eat on this occasion, so will return when less busy.
