My recent visit to The Launge View Restaurant and Cocktail Bar left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated due to the unprofessional behavior of its staff. Despite the bar's promising ambiance and decent drink selection, the negative experience with the staff overshadowed any potential enjoyment. This review aims to shed light on the specific instances that occurred during my visit, highlighting the lack of professionalism and customer service exhibited by the bar's employees.
1. Inattentive and Disinterested Staff:
Upon entering The Launge View Restaurant and Cocktail Bar, I was greeted by a disinterested waitress who seemed more preoccupied with their phone than attending to customers. Despite being one of only a few patrons at the time, it took an excessive amount of time for them to acknowledge my presence and take my order. Throughout the evening, it became evident that this lack of attentiveness was not an isolated incident but rather a recurring theme among the staff.
2. Rude and Condescending Attitude:
The staff at The Launge View Restaurant and Cocktail Bar displayed a consistently rude and condescending attitude towards customers. I was able to write this review whilst waiting for my bill. Such a shame.
Average unfortunately. We had tapas which were no better than supermarket frozen food deep fried. The calamari in particular was very poor and it’s not cheap either.
We visited this new restaurant for the first time last night.
Service was professional, the staff knew their job, and also dressed accordingly, not jeans with ripped knees etc.
I had a decent spicy pizza, and without asking, the waitress was wise enough, to ask, and bring me a spicy oil. My wife's salad, she says, was a good mix, with plenty of chicken.
Overall a pleasant experience, and we shall return.
