Great boozer and a really good clean pint

Amazing food and great service.

Had to use the disabled toilets as I've had a hip operation I was very disappointed with what I found

I went in for a drink pre lockdown on a couple occassions and could not fault the service or the friendliness of the locals that are there. Having recently found out that they now offered food I felt obliged to try it and can hand on heart say it was some of the best Indian take away I have had in Leicester! I noticed the venue had also had a makeover done it looks amazing, great space to go and relax. Can not wait for the lockdown to be lifted so I can go enjoy some drinks with my friends in the new bar.

I like oily/fried food when i'm eating out - I think it just tastes nicer and when you're treating yourself to a takeout then who cares?

- But this food had enough oil to increase your risk of having a heart attack in the next month by about 90%.

And that's no exaggeration - the amount of oil I decanted from the dishes I ordered (only 2) was probably enough to fry a full batch of chips - to the point that I wondered what the hell was this chef thinking?

The food actually tasted good after taking as much oil out of it as I could - which is a shame - I fully understand all takeouts can be oily, and I regularly eat at some very oily ones - but this was just an unacceptable CRAZY amount.

This bar provides Indian meals but it has no Real Ale nor Craft Beers so not to my taste. It has an emphasis on sports coverage on TV and beers from the national mega-breweries but it is clearly popular with other people judging by its occupants. Disabled accessible entrance. Free parking available close nearby in two lay-bys on same road also nearby streets

Average pub. Service has improved. Don't know about the food but great choice of beers.
