First time I’ve been here for a couple of years after moving back to the area and its gone right downhill. Fried rice was hard and clumped together. The chicken and king prawn in black bean was disgusting (the chicken cheap processed stuff and the king prawns frozen mush) waste of money as gone straight in the bin!
In my opinion the Lotus House is the best Chinese takeaway in Prudhoe by far. I love the chicken and king prawn curry and my parents love the sweet and sour king prawn dish. All the food is delicious, made quickly and the staff are very efficient and friendly. Top-notch food and service! Well done and thank you. We'll be back soon! ????????
Delicious. Crispy shredded beef was actually that. Ribs were incredible. Noodles, spicy chips great. Very very good traditional takeaway.
Best Chinese food in the area. The guy who takes the orders has been there years and he's so lovely! The food is always prepared fresh and quick (I don't know if they deliver as I just pop in, order and wait) and their crispy shredded beef and chow mein dishes are definitely the best. There's free parking either over the road or behind in the Co-op. I always over order so I can then portion up another dinner the next day. I with they were on Just Eat so I could pre-order and pay with card, but like most Chinese takeaways, the best ones are always cash only, so come prepared.

Ordered a takeaway tonight for my daughter’s 40th birthday, they said it would be ready in 15 mins which we thought was quick. We only live 5 mins away yet the chicken dishes were lukewarm, the fried rice was cold as if it had been cooked earlier and they’d forgot to reheat it. Will not go again, very disappointed

Popped in last night on my drive back to Prudhoe from Beverley, phoned my order in and it was ready to collect bang on time. Fresh tasty food , cooked well . Always a warm and friendly welcome from the nice man behind the counter to.
Both myself and daughter had a belting dose of food poisoning the day after.
Sickness and diarrhoea. Won't be eating from your menu again. Special chop suey, salt and pepper chicken box
