Love it here. The wee toy museum upstairs is a hidden gem. Loads of bargains for sale from all eras , not just toys. Ran and owned by a very knowledgeable man as well.

Owners are really collectors who are very knowledgeable about their stock. Friendly. Not at all pushy.
Browse for hours if that's what you enjoy. At the very least you will learn something.
lovely shop the owners were so helpful and very friendly, stayed in moffat for a week and visited this shop several times my partner bought me a lovely amber pendant with chain absolutely beautiful well worth a visit.
Quite a lovely shop , I've got a aircraft and 3 cars from here for £15 which is a very good deal. Even has a toy museum which enhaces the shop experience.
Some interesting pieces, friendly staff etc, but the toy museum is well worth a visit. Equal parts fascinating and mildly terrifying.
What a place! My children (and husband) were utterly enchanted. An absolute hidden gem of Moffat.
Last time I was at Lothlorien was the previous shop in Dumfries, well over 20yr ago. The current shop is an absolute treasure trove of antiques and toys. The toy museum is currently a work in progress but there still an amazing amount of toys from decades and there's also some for sale. The Mrs was busy browsing all the shiny things so I spoke to the owner Derek for a bit about all things collectable. We'll be back, this time with the intent to buy
Great toy collection, staff are very friendly. It's a little bit cramped in some parts but that cant be helped. The mini-toy museum upstairs is well worth a peek even if you arent looking to purchase anything. Will be going again next time I'm in moffat.
