First time I have used this place and it will definately be the last. The food was inedible, undercooked, poor quality, clearly staight from the cash and carry to the deep frier, the sauce was water-thin and with little discernable flavour the chicken chewy with an unpleasant rubbery texture. The rice was dry and clumpy and gave the impression it was reheated, certainly not freshly cooked. After one mouthful it was clear this was unacceptable, we took our meals back and got a refund. The premises appear unclean and unloved, and looked like it hasn't had a lick of paint for decades, wires and light cables hanging round the walls, all very temporary in appearance. Altogether a very poor show. The owners here need to take a good hard look at what they are doing.
New owners started well with good food. Time will tell if it lasts.
Went here for takeaway. When I walked In the lady behind the counter looked at me like she had never seen anyone in the shop before. Kinda weird. So I ordered up my food. While I was waiting there is a glass panel looking into the kitchen which was slightly open and I saw the chef light up a cigarette in the kitchen after he cooked my food. I never said anything and took the food home it was 100% vile. Won’t be back
So being a Tuesday not more Chinese were open, so me and my friends came across ‘ loon hing’ which to add was absolutely ‘hinging’ the salt and pepper chicken balls were so slim and hardly any, the salt and pepper chicken was just chicken with no flavour, my friends chicken curry was rubber may as well have been a dog toy she was chewing, got home only ate my chips n curry sauce and was ill all night. Do not recommend unless you like chewing dog toys n being overcharged.
I tried this take away for the first time tonight. Safe to say I won't be using it again.
Costly and the food was very poor. I'm not sure what was in that chicken chow mein but it didn't resemble chicken.
Zero stars wasn't an option hence the 1 star rating.
Avoid.
Closed for holiday (17/08/19), but no notice on JustEat or their own website. Only found out because the door was locked and some bloke outside was touting kebabs. Very odd.
However, when it is open for business... decent value, quality of food, and friendly service. Reasonably fast from order to table, but only if ordered via JustEat. Always seems to be slower if you go direct or phone an order.
Ordered a few meals quick delivery a bonus to the proposed hour wait, but the chicken satay meal was one to avoid the sauce was watery & not a lot of hence a lot of dried rice' had a portion of mini spring rolls was apeatising'the second meal wasent memorable either,24pounds down the drain.....
Don’t go! Chicken under cooked, called them up and didn’t want to know about it! Wouldn’t recommend. Meat stringy and raw. Avoid!
