I rang them asked if they could fit me in for an MOT on the same day. They made space for me 2 hours after the phonecall, saving me a great deal of problems.

I've been using Long March Motors for around 9 years now. I always get great service here at very good prices. The mechanic is really knowledgeable and can often diagnose the problem just from my description of the symptoms. He's very honest and won’t rip you off, only does what’s needed. If there’s a job they can’t do they’ll recommend another trustworthy garage to get it sorted. I wish they were all like this!
Used this garage for many years and always been very happy previously, in line with the reviews already posted. However, in recent times the same level of customer service has not been received with a language barrier on reception coming in to play; resulting in a situation where I was told that I should have brought my car in on a different Thursday to what I was told. I was then told there had been a cancellation so the work would be done that day now. However, instead I was only told what was wrong (which I had partly already reported) but that a quote would be provided at another time and they would do the work at the original appointment they booked. When I asked when I would get the quote as there were 4 parts that I needed to pay for I was told 'he will tell you later'. When I asked how much later as I was anxious to see how much I could afford in one go and what the best offers were around, I was told my original appointment was now cancelled too so if I decided to do it with them I could rearrange and that the mechanic would be reminded to provide a quote. I finally gave in and have gone elsewhere as I was not asked if I wanted to cancel this appointment and STILL not given any indication how much the price would be or apologised to at any stage for any inconvenience that was caused. Very sad to say this, after the previous years experience. However, after having a similar communication experience at the start of the year when enquiring about the cost of a service; it is unlikely I will be returning when it is difficult to pass on and receive accurate and timely information to the mechanic in the garage.
Good mechanic seems to know what he's talking about he failed my Picasso MOT on the emissions and advised on a ball joint he got the emissions sorted and he changed the ball joint I had a go at the ball joint myself could not get the bolts out but he did and he's quite reasonable too
Wouldn't take my car anywhere else. She is getting on in years and very precious to me. Thank you Andy for looking after her.
Take all my cars here for MoT, not because he passes them every time (he doesn't if there's a genuine problem), but because the service is no-nonsense, no BS and no drama. That's what most people would want from an MoT station.
Great atmosphere, very friendly and welcoming. Recommend for your cars needs.
