Good service despite being busy during the lunch time. We went without booking but luckily got a table. They seem to be really busy during lunch time, full of professionals people around.
Standing right next to the London museum might be of great advantage for them as it’s a quite good after museum visit rest place and great food. We totally enjoyed our Caesar’s salad and margarita pizza and on top fish fingers and chips for kids :)
Loved this restaurant to the fullest #letsguide
Conveniently located next to the London Museum, this restaurant is the perfect place for an after visit rest! Providing a great space with lots of light, it's both relaxing and friendly. The menu might be a little on the pricey side but the service is fantastic and the staff one of the best I've seen in London. The manger/waiter forgot to come and get our order for about 5 to 10 minutes as the restaurant got a little crowded and there were understaffed, but he made a genuine apology and didn't charge us for the drinks. The pulled pork burger is nice and do great chips!
I Was here with a friend of mine, as we are visiting London. We were going to wait the museum next door, but as we were going inside a whole school were visiting . As we didn't want to stay waiting in line for 40+ minutes we decided to visit the bar next door. As it happens it was quite nice and the staff was were friendly . We only ordered a couple of beers , Wich were quite good. The food looked nice and they even had a Italian pizza oven so you know it's somewhat authentic . I can recommend visiting after a trip in the museum.
I know it shouldn't matter but the staff here are all super hot and really nice and friendly. Just in case that ever factors into your choice of watering holes! And they're funny and efficient too! Far too many times have I been to a bar being served by pretty people and they seem far too concerned with themselves to actually get down to doing the job they're there to do. Here they please the eye and wet the whistle!
We went here before going to an event at the London museum on one of the first sunny days of the year - it was absolutely packed. Luckily, the staff were really quick and the line went down really quickly. They have lots of bottles and drinks on draft too so they will have something for everyone.
I didn't eat anything here but the pizzas I saw other people have looked amazing. I would come back just to try the pizza.
Limited seating and menu. Reasonably friendly staff who are courteous. Very cold on cold London days, wear a jumper. Food is pleasant, they have a new wood oven for pizzas. Slow service. Apple crumble is shockingly small for the price.
I don't get the opportunity to hang out in this part of london. This was a welcome stop before heading to the museum.
I had Greek salad and mint tea, which l enjoyed. My partner had chicken with salad, and a ginger beer which l had to taste, and loved it.
Though its situated in the middle of the city, it still had a good a atmosphere, regardless being surrounded by office blocks.
Staff were welcoming and attentive. The menu had a good selection of teas, wines and spirits, and food selection.
Have eaten here a number of times and always enjoyed it - a solid 3.5 I would say - but the recent menu change is not for the better. Now everything is small plates, which is no problem per se, but which here manifests itself as saucers of food at £6-7 a pop. I wish I'd taken a picture of the prawn linguine served to one of my lunch companions - the four prawns and tablespoonful of pasta stretched the definition of 'small'. Would not recommend this place for a meal now.
We stumbled into here after a morning at the museum of London, and I'm so glad we did! Lovely food, relaxed atmosphere, comfy sofas. It was just what we needed as a break from a hectic, half term trip to the museum. Will def plan to come again!
