Stop for the night as working at St Mary's church 3 minutes away. Room clean n tidy, staff were very good and made you feel welcome.
Would stop again here. Food good and a good breakfast in the morning.

This old couch house is very quirky because of its age but the cleanliness, food quality and staff could not be beaten. Everything had been done to make visitors comfortable to a very high standard. My full English breakfast the first morning was the best I have had anywhere. It was not a fluke as the second day was just as good as was the dinner. Of course it will be noisy up till around 11pm at weekends as it is such a popular local pub on a main road, but quiet for most of the time.
Genuine hospitality. Nice and caring staff. I felt really like home. The pub downstairs gives you the opportunity to meet the locals. Rooms are nice spacious and spotless clean. Fluffy towels and soft sheets ideal to recharge your batteries after a tough busines day. Outstanding plumbing. Great for people like me who use a retort rather than a shower. Nice breakfast cooked to order and good food at the pub downstair. Highly recommended. Real value for money.
I will definitely choose it once more if in the area again.
Nive traditional pub with good beer choices. We didn't eat there but the food looked great and plentiful as it was delivered. The pub is never busy and the clientele are mainly workers on the way home. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Must go back to try the food.
We were a party of 7, had a lovely meal here. The food was plentiful and very tasty and tge service was really good. Our server was really attentive and couldn't have been nicer. He was also very kind to our dogs which made the meal even more enjoyable.
We arrived late on, the reception behind the bar was very welcoming. We were able to get checked in and then meet friends for a drinks. All very relaxed. The rooms were good. Then a good breakfast in the morning and on our way. Thanks for a great stay.
Great location for an overnight stay for a day at the races. Room was very clean & tidy, plenty of towels & toiletries. Had an evening meal & breakfast - both were very nice. Huge selection at breakfast, cereals, juices, preserves, etc. The English breakfast was freshly cooked & was very nice. The owner was a friendly chap , I would stay again when going to the races
A Fantastic pub in the village of Charlton Kings. Great beer's and food. A friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Just a shame the lady behind the bar doesn't have a clue what she is doing. Not stayed here so cannot comment on the rooms.
