Best KPortal Reviews
Amazing meal with fantastic service. My husband also rated the local beer.
Absolutely fantastic meal in the Bistro! I had the haggis tart to start and the steak - everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the chef really knows what he is doing. Even the salad garnishes had lots of thought and the were fresh and delicious. The owners are lovely, very friendly and the service is great. I am happy there is a place in Lochcarron that serves food of this standard. Once we finished we sat out under their new awning with the lights, with a glass of wine and dessert. My new favourite place in Lochcarron!
I went to this restaurant based on our host's recommendation with my two best friends. It was by far the best food experience we had during our week in Scotland. The food was delicious and tasteful.
Stopped at the Bistro on our way back from Applecross. Booking based on positive reviews and we were not disappointed at all. Good food - nicely done..! Definitely would recommend.
The nicest seafood we had while in the area. Scallops, mussels, langoustines and haddock all delicious and the chips were possibly the best I’ve ever had. The outdoor seating has gorgeous views across the loch too. Also our dog was made welcome as welcome as we were.
Good food, friendly service, homely atmosphere. We came early in our stay in the area and enjoyed it so much we immediately to come back before we journeyed home! It's a small space, reservations are recommended. Food is decent quality and good size. Smoked mussels are a must!
Drinks include a dozen or so wines and some bottled beers (Skye mostly).
Absolutely incredible. We were travelling from London to do NC500 trying to taste some of the finer foods on the road and this was the greatest highlight of them all! Unbelievable bisque, service was second to none and the food/wine pairing… HIGHLY recommended and we’ll be back soon just to taste it again. Thanks Chef!
I cannot explain how amazing this food was! Everything was so fresh and was bursting with flavour. If you are around Lochcarron I would highly recommend paying a visit as you will not regret it. Hope the pictures speak for themselves.
