Right next to the Loch Ness Center is the Loch Ness Center and they have a good variety of different meals as well as a soup of the day. The staff is friendl. I was there on a Thursday and it was not busy at all. They have a souvenir shop right next to it. There are many parking possibilities around.
Great little coffee, we decided to eat there because the restaurant was full of people, which usually means food is good, and we we made a good choice . Stuff was absolutely amazing , with a great atmosphere, and the food was fresh and delicious . ????
Had Cullen skink, not good my missus had pate with two very small oatcakes and had to ask for more, we then had calamari and chip's with garlic bread.
The calamari was like trying to eat battered elastic bands and the garlic bread was so dry and hard was inedible. A refund on the bill was accepted.
The next day for a snack we ordered two toasted sandwiches and the waiters were like something out of Fawlty towers, as we were trying to eat our food he came around our table with a brush and pan. Unbelievable.
My partner and I came in here after the Loch Ness tour and I’m sorry to say it was a bit disappointing. We ordered two full Scottish breakfasts. The haggis, black pudding and egg on my breakfast tasted weird so I had to leave it. The coffee was the only decent thing about it. I’d recommend going into Inverness itself and avoid this place.
Nice little cafe connected to the hotel. Stopped in for a quick coffee (supplied by Red Box Coffee) and some cake.
Adorable Highland Cow plush near the entrance sitting at a table.
We had delicious coffee at this place and the views were fantastic! The staff is very courteous and humorous, and the prices were very much on par with any cafe in the UK and Ireland.
We had a great coffee here and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The view of the glen is lovely too!
I don’t like leaving negative reviews and this one, for the Loch Ness cafe near to the exhibition, is well deserved.
£6 for a toastie served by staff who are interrupted from using their phones, and who seem to get every order wrong, is dire. Poor selection of sandwiches. I couldn’t wait to leave.
Shame. Prime position and could be a great business. It’s run like a 1970s back street cafe, without the tasty food.
