Disgusted! The car park was busy when we arrived at 9am, so we found whatever space we could (as most people did that day). Even though we parked sensibly, without blocking anything, we came back to a parking ticket as we weren't in a 'designated bay'. There must have been around 20 other cars with parking tickets. We paid £8 for the full day, and then a £100 ticket. It's just a money making scheme. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Really well situated for walking routes. Be aware you need to pay. I went on a Sunday and it was one pound for the whole day. Arrived at 8am and it was empty. After cycling the Glen Loin loop the car park was full on return. Be warned get there early
I wouldn't even give this car park a star if there was a choice. The ticket inspector there must be on commission. We parked for 8 hours (expensive £8) while we hiked Narnain and Ime on 23.6.19. On 1.8.19 I received a penalty notice from Argyll and Bute Council for £60. Our parking ticket expired at 17.15 and the photgraph the attendant took shows the insoection time at 12:06. They cant even read the correct time on the parking ticket you have paid for before they've issued you a ticket. It must be one of the biggest money making car parks in Scotland for penalties unless you know better. Won't be rushing back to park there again in a hurry. It's a poor show for Scottish hospitality
I parked here to walk the Cobbler. The car park is clean and well maintained but has no toilet. It's the closest car park to the Munros. There is another car park nearby should this one become too busy with coaches of tourists (most likely during summer months)
Easy to get to glenloin loop and the cobbler but £9 to park for 6 hours and they took away the potable toilets another scam
I'm a disabled driver with blue badge still got fined for parking for 10 mins as I felt unwell ,had to give a star just to write this review and warn other blue badge holders ,what a disgrace
Make sure to park in a designated space or get a parking fine
Great parking until the £9 a day charges are applied!!!
