This was a Lloyds pharmacy, but has recently changed to JHoots Pharmacy.
They are lovely in there, and go out of their way to find medications for their clients (and randoms like me looking for the meds as my normal pharmacist couldn't be bothered, due to the lack of meds at the moment).
Changing to them as they are amazing, finding the meds when 3 others couldn't!
Terrible service and awful experience. The staff that have served me are rude and prescriptions never ready to collect when they say they are.
The last time I came here to collect a prescription which was a long time ago, I was told it would be a 30 minute wait so I waited in the pharmacy. Whilst I was waiting, a woman came into the pharmacy and started causing a scene and shouting and swearing and saying she was angry at her GP. There were young children in the pharmacy watching this.
The staff did nothing to deescalate the situation and were extremely unprofessional, no consideration for how her behaviour is affecting other customers. They had her prescription ready in 5 minutes, and offered her to stay for a cup of tea!!! She didn't leave and continued to shout at the other customers and just generally act like a disruptive knob having a freak out. Luckily the other customers ignored her, and I think not getting the reaction she wanted eventually prompted her to leave.
I have to be honest i have used this pharmacy from late 90's and at first i had no problems, lovely staff etc, but in the last 10 years this pharmacy has had numerous pharmacists and staff, closed because no pharmacist to open and on many occasions they do not have your items, also offer no text services to say your prescription is ready, meaning you have to go up blind hoping it's ready after 48 hrs (2 days) sometimes longer i have left it to collect to be told its not ready and can you come back, not open Saturday's and they are not open as late as Rosemary Medical Centre so if you do have a late appointment pharmacist shuts at 5:30pm...I have moved from this pharmacy twice and I will be changing again after being let down on my most important meds just before Christmas holiday shut down when I had given the prescription in plenty of time electronically..the service is very poor at this particular Lloyds pharmacy and I can't rely on them at the most important times...
Terrible, either closed or doesn't have items in. I couldn't get my babies formula and was told nothing they can do and not even an apology. Not really good enough if a child can not eat! So I ended up in tears at the doctor's begging for another prescription as refused to give me mine back
If i could give no star i would, staff are rude. Phone rings endless without answer. Everytime i go there, theres never any stock with the medicatons i need.
Every time I go to pick up prescription I allow at least two weeks as they nearly all the time get it wrong. My daughter went in to pick up my prescription and I asked her to make sure it was all there. The lady on the counter said yes, when she got home two items were missing. I then had to go back and there was no apology just rudeness. Please check people's medication it's not difficult.
They never answer the Phone. Impossible to get through. Prescriptions often take 4 days to come in which is rediculous. When you do go to collect your prescription it is never ready. Always told to come back later as they haven't been through them yet!!! very inconvenient. Also stuff is missing half the time but they don't tell you or even realise. They would never call you to say there is an issue. just blame the doctors and send you over there. Staff are rude and the pharmasist is rude to the staff and customers can often hear what is going on.
What I joke I'm visiting the area and chose to have my prescription sent to this pharmacy from my GP, they got the prescription on Monday but they never had the one item in stock they then spent everyday saying they would be in the next day, finally on the Friday after 4 days without medication and having a right go at them on the phone they miraculously found a packet of the medication. I'll never visit there again.
