Rude female member of staff called Alex working in this pharmacy. They were closing at 1pm and 5 minutes before closing she turned off all the lights while customers were in store and was VERY rude to an older gentleman who was just trying to be nice.
Ringmer is a small community and you would expect not to have the lights turned off on you while you are actually waiting to be seen. Having myself waited 15 minutes to be spoken too!
Disgusting behaviour! Especially as it wasn't even closing time!!
Consistent - in letting people down and having extended waiting times to collect. Drugs ordered well in advance (over a week before needed) go to collect my mothers prescription and have been left standing in the store for 45mins so far!!! Disgusting and needs to be sorted out, this is now a monthly occurrence
Quality of service here does not seem to be a priority, even my own GP has mentioned it. Seldom appear to have any idea of what’s going on, very alarming when dealing with public health. Good for paracetamol and shampoo, little else.
It opens at 9 closes at 3 and isn’t open on the weekends. It’s like people who work or go to school can’t get any prescriptions. I go to school full time I cannot get to the pharmacy at all without taking time off school. Not good enough go somewhere else
Abysmal. The 4 times I've gone to pick up my antidepressants recently they have claimed they don't have my prescription, and every time I have called my psychiatrist who has called them, and suddenly they remember that they do have my prescription. I have never been able to pick up medication without them causing a huge fuss about it, whether that's claiming they're not on my file when I know they are, giving me the wrong medication/dosage, or telling me that I have to pay when I know I don't. Sometimes they're closed a random day of the week, and at least once or twice a week the Chemist is off sick.
Today when I was there I overheard 4 seperate people talking about how awful their service was, they weren't wrong. Just drive to Lewes, this isn't worth it.
Good experience.
Booked a covid test online, arrived and after waiting 20 mins the lady performed 3 tests for us friendly and efficiently. Great job.
Whilst waiting inside I experienced a few of what looked like their regular customers. Old people who sounded like they went there a lot who were just complaining about everything.
Take the negative reviews on here with a pinch of salt. The old people of Ringmer are generally very white, very upper middle class and ALL want special treatment. I sympathise with the staff who have to deal with these entitled old moaners every day.
Desperately hopeless. One has to return day after day to pick up items that have not been included in the prescription request and the shop is often bustling with disgruntled customers who have been told to “wait over there” before being told “we haven’t got it. Come back tomorrow.” It really is so upsetting
I’ve not long been out of hospital and need surgical dressings for an open wound that is not healing I went t the doctors Thursday who said they would put my prescription over the chemist so I could pick up on friday , I’m finding it hard to get out so a friend went over t pick them up after 2 they were shut so my friend said she would pop over t day Saturday 27 nov she came back with my other medication no sterile dressing they r now shut I have 3 t last me till Monday then I have t start using sanitary towels. It’s not bloody good enough
