Stopped for a cuppa and bite to eat on our way home from Christchurch and thought a Little Chef would be ok but how wrong were we..?
The place is very run down and in need of extensive repair/redecorating..
The food was good but the experience crap.
Oh and they use crap teabags too.
Coffee & food delicious. Staff friendly. Toilets a disgrace (ladies). No toilet seats in either cubicle, toilet roll cover fell off. Hand dryer not functioning, so had to dry with toilet tissue.
The food's nice, the atmosphere a little cold sometimes due to the decor.
Friendly staff and good for a quick meal when you are "on the road" I use it as a half way stop on a long journey.

Nice a little pricy but good food
Food good warmer out side and they turned off out side lights so difficult leaving toilets still disgusting
