the place to say the least was a disgrace car park was full off rubbish and broken glass should have seen the signs from this buy ordered our breakfasts one was a Olympic breakfast and a breakfast burger with two pots of teas. tea pots and cups where chipped and dirty and the luke warm ( that's being generous ) both meals where stone cold the fried bread had grease and contents from the fryer ( burnt chips) on it.the sausages where not cooked in the middle the tomatoes looked they had seen the grill for 2 seconds but the eggs where so under cooked that there was 50% egg white on the egg but the burger was awful had a blood clot in the middle of it and off course the burger was not even 20-30% cooked will now be sending this to the little chef head office my advice to anyone that is hungry and that is in that area. do not ever eat here so dirty that even the refit can't hide how dirty the place is and even the staff smell and look dirty total disgrace
Stopped by for a break whilst travelling to Cambridge on the A14. Started by using the baby-changing facilities within the toilets that were appalling. The toilet was broken, dirty and had a black bin-liner holding it all together. The restaurant itself was a poor sight. We were going to stop for lunch but changed our minds after seeing the endless dirty, unset tables. Chose to buy some snacks from the Shell petrol station instead. Won't be stopping here again.
Stopping in the nearby Travelodge, who have helpfully placed a Littlechef menu in my room. However, what's the point (other than advertising breakfast)? When I arrived at the Littlechef, at 18.35, I was asked if I was hoping to eat there and that they had stopped ordering food.
You might as well just put a breakfast menu out, or make it clear than you do not there serve evening meals.
Disappointed to say the least.
Just called for Olympic breakfasts which we had been looking forward to since arriving back in Britain. Absolutely delicious - we cleared the plates. Thank you Jamie, you made our welcome home so much better.
Went in for breakfast this morning ended up leaving without eating took ages to come and take our order the people before us food was left on the side with no service the chef wasn't wearing a hair net or gloves. No cutlery had been washed ready to serve and to top it off they had no eggs !! Terrible place would never use or recommend.
Worst ever. I don't normally leave reviews unless outstanding or bad and this is bad. Toilet s mad me reach so dirty, whole place dirty, too dirty to be allowed so cook food.
Absolutely disgusting, the worst place I have ever eaten with my family, we stopped yesterday at the end of a lovely weekend away, the seats were covered in food which we had to clean ourselves, we ordered a kids pizza meal which was like rubber, 2 breakfast burger meals, the burgers were like charcoal, surprisingly my daughter had the breakfast omelette which was actually ok compared to everyone else's although a little rubbery but her glass was dirty! My wife had the chicken burger which when arrived was burnt to a crisp, no coleslaw arrived with the meals although is shown on the menu, today she has spent all day in bed really Ill with tummy cramps and diarrhoea, She ate nothing after the little chef meal so can only assume it was that dreadful chicken, the only plus side was the young lad that served us who was actually polite, when we pulled out the 2 chefs were stood outside having a cigarrrette, not a very good advert, I can honestly say we will NEVER eat at a little chef ever again!!
This is a combination Little Chef, Burger King outfit. It's your typical British roadside establishment: the Burger King is mediocre although the Little Chef is okay. The toilets aren't well signposted and the car park is small.
