Absolutely appalling experience. All the nurse was interested in was finishing shift and getting home even though she still had an hour and a half left. After six days of failed attempts and over one hundred unanswered phone calls to request an appointment at maghull practice I was eventually informed that there were no appointments available and I was advised to visit Litherland walk in centre. What a complete waste of time.
Would give no stars if possible.
Brought my 94 year old mother (who lives in a care home) to here in a specialist taxi as she is wheelchair bound, has dementia and she needed to have an X ray on her bruised, painful foot. Had a referral from doctor but when I arrived at 5.40pm I was told that even though she had a referral I needed to make an appointment as it was after 5pm. Nobody had told me this and they point blank wouldn't do an X ray even though there was someone working in the X ray department. I had to turn around in the taxi, she was confused and in pain. This is absolutely appalling treatment - where is the humanity and care? I am so upset and angry. It cost me £22 for the taxi and I have to repeat the whole process tomorrow ????????
General staff vibe wasn’t the best however, Rachael the nurse was so lovely and gave the best, most thorough care to my mum. She deserves all the praise! Thank you Rachael :)
Doctors are great when you finally get to see them, receptionist however awful, bad attitude, my daughter wasn't well at all, there was no seats so she sat on the floor, receptionist was very rude to her, not allowed to sit on the floor inside but outsides ok in the heavy rain and cold,,,,,????
Just attended with my 4 year old son, wonderful service. Seen by a lovely nurse called Sue, she was very thorough and compassionate in her examination. We left with our mind at ease. Thank you

I have had first class treatment for a post op wound here. I had to go every day, yes, I had to wait most days but I am not surprised with the amount of silly things some people go with, or go because of the the ridiculous situation of not being able to get a doctor's appointment. The staff, including front of office staff and security, were great even though they were under pressure. So just have a patience if you go there, they're doing their best under difficult circumstances.
Needed a wound closing. It was quite busy, triage only, but was able to sit. I was surprised I didn't wait long. I was in and out in much under an hour. Friendly professional staff.
