Limelight Cafè - I can’t believe how rude the staff are. Went in today and was sat working as were a few other people when a member of staff (mixed race) comes across and rudely says “ can yous all move over to the tables where the computers are I need these tables for lunch” she was shouting and pointing.
The staff have always been rude at the cafè apart from Melissa but this woman upset quite a lot of people and people like her is why Limelight isn’t what it was when it opened.

They don’t take card payments for prescriptions. As someone who doesn’t feel comfortable carrying cash for safety reasons it’s really sad that after years they refuse to accommodate this and just tell you to go elsewhere.
Lovely place for individuals looking for independent living but with a caring system on hand if needed.
Called re my prescription as doctor surgery upstairs confirmed it was there at the pharmacy. Pharmacy say they don't have it, Call limelight surgery again they say it has been sent there the day before and give me a number to give to the pharmacy. Call the pharmacy back who take the number and download my prescription. They don't have it in. They will have to order it in but they don't know when it will arrive so I have to ring each day to check if they have it. It is a very widely available standard medication for ear infection. Surgery said they would have it in. Wow. How hard can it be? Other pharmacies stock a variety of commonly prescribed meds and if not at least offer to call you when they have it. Not these guys, first they deny having your prescription, until you prove that they have, then they say they'll order it, then you have to chase them to see if they have received it.Sometimes you couldn't make it up, I believe they are in competition with the surgery upstairs of the same name to see who can be the most incompetent, It's a close call.
M very unprofessional and unhelpful staff. They are unbelievably slow and make the patients wait unnecessarily and create long queues. I said I couldn’t pay cash and they told me to wait. After 30 minutes 3 of them came just to tell me I couldn’t pay cash again. I did pay with card previously in this place. Apparently you can’t pay with cards prescriptions now!? They should be better trained and more kind as often they have to deal with people that are struggling and in need of medications.
Just moved in.Absolutley brilliant and beautiful place. I can see I'm going to be very happy here.
Limelight has such Amazing facilities and services for the whole community, however from experience I would highly suggest to avoid parking on Shrewsbury St as there is plenty of parking available on Clifton St and on St brides way.
