I happened to be passing and the mechanic was good enough to take a quick look at the rumbling in my engine, he diagnosed right there and then. However they phoned me to say the fault lay elsewhere and the bill would increase. So I okayed the job and it was ready the next day. Fair enough! Smart reception area and a tidy workshop.
I am a member of Green Flag and broke down this week on the A30 on the hard shoulder. A recovery vehicle from Liftondown Garage came to my rescue within 30 minutes and assisted in getting my vehicle and me to a safe place in a near layby. Whilst the vehicle could not be repaired, I was efficiently towed to the garage and transferred to a Recovery Truck.
My thanks to the Recovery Mechanic who came to my rescue and to the lady on the telephone at the garage who both made me feel safe and looked after.
Great service. Darren recovered my car off the driveway on a Sunday afternoon and took the car back to the garage before delivery to BMW the following day.
Once Darren had explained the recovery process, I had complete faith that the car would be recovered and delivered with care and in a very professional manner.

Pretty bad experience. Fuel injector failure so they replaced one without telling me it's a good idea to do them all at once. Car was stuck in Cornwall and I had to go home. Holiday already ruined. Went to pick up the next weekend and exactly the same fault happened again, 5 minutes after driving away.
In their defence the garage owner came straight out and they'd done the second injector by that Monday. They only charged me for the part and half price labour for the second one.
But it wasn't until later I realised that they had charged me £75 for each injector, the price of a Bosch one, and had actually installed £30 magnelli ones.
The fact that they overcharged me so much on these parts is disgusting. And because I didn't realise until I was fixing the next two myself, I purchased two more Bosch injectors and then saw the ones they had done were magnelli, and you can't really run mixed injectors, so I had to buy another two Bosch ones and do those myself as well.
All in all I had to pay £280 for four new injectors because they lied about what they installed and overcharged me for it. Cost me an awful lot of time in my own labour having to replace.
After getting my car recovered it was taken to Mike’s garage who came across it on the Monday morning! This garage was recommended to me by a family friend.
He let me know very quickly the outcome which is what i expected! And made the process of getting it scrapped very easy.
Although i love in Norwich, i’ll be booking my car in for it to be serviced when i’m next down as you know you and the car will be well looked after.
I am a member of Green Flag and my vehicle broke down this morning in a busy carpark. Was given an estimated attend time of one hour, yet within a few minutes the gentleman arrived from Liftondown Garage. The EIM was dead and it was nigh-on impossible with all the traffic and the location the vehicle was parked to recover it during shopping hours. Left the key-fob with them and the vehicle was delivered to my home this evening and place exactly where I wanted it. Could not ask for better service. Grateful thanks.
We had a Sunday breakdown 9/9/18 Paul collected us very.quickly. Part needed fitted and car ready Tuesday .did not cost us as much as we thought. Great service highly recommended.
Broke down at work - rang my breakdown service who gave me Lifton garage. The man attended within set time that had been text to my mobile. He was able to find what was wrong but unable to mend. Took my car to main dealer. No problems at all - service given was 1st class and would highly recommend
