Well stocked local shop with a very friendly team. For its size it's surprising just how many different products they stock. Really nice fresh sandwiches and snacks; well worth a visit.

Basic store which could have a larger variety of products but I guess it might just be enough for the local people..
Managers and staff are very friendly and helpful. There is an extensive range of stock for a village shop and they also support local producers and services. Really handy when you run out of something or can't face going to Tesco.They have even delivered coal to my door for me!
The second time I’ve been here and they have been so rude to me. I’m a disabled person who suffers anxiety. Behind the post office, they completely shut me down and wouldn’t let me explain the issue. They are extremely unapologetic. The first time I went there they shouted at me when I was waiting to be served but I was unaware the post office was closed. This time they refused to take my parcel that I was returning because it had the wrong label on. None of this was my fault as the parcel was sent by mistake. I’ve had to go out of my way to make the trip to the post office that brings me high levels of worry and panic. Just to be sent away by an uninterested, ill mannered worker.
We have lived in lifton for the last five years running the fox and grapes in tinhay, a big thankyou to blackie, Michelle and all their lovely staff for always being so helpful beyond expectations ! Miss you all. Come see us at the crossways Inn at follygate! Fastastic village stores you should be proud. Arnie , rose and damelza.
