Wow is all I can say. Cookie Dough, Waffles & Milkshakes all to die for. One of the few places who make everything fresh including the Ice cream for the milkshakes rather than tubbed supermarket stuff. Customer service, food quality and delivery times all bang on. Why travel to Creams & wait in a Que when you can chill and have a higher quality product delivered to your door. This is the first time I've left a review for food so you can probably guess how impressed I am!!
Never usually review places I eat or frequent but this one definetley deserves it. First of all the customer service is brilliant! Got a phone call to let me know they had dispatched my order & it would be with me shortly within half an hour of placing it. Ferrero rocher cookie dough & milkshakes are too die forr! Comes across as the sort of business that would go the extra mile to make sure its customers are happy & are happy to take any criticism unlike others. Reccommended & a new regular for my family. Thank you team LICKX
Went to order from their website after reading great reviews. Went to checkout and order was being sent over for the Lickx to pick up (never heard of this before) but they didn't. Meaning my order wasn't taken and apparently my card wasn't charged. Gives the option to "try again" so I did. 3 more times before being met with the message "declined by your bank". Turns out that it still shows up in your pending transactions meaning that it eats your available balance! Tried phoning them on the number on their website, gets diverted to a guys mobile who used to work there months ago but has no idea what's going on. Apparently he has had 6 more calls from people trying to reach them! Sounds majorly dodgy. Avoid it unless you don't mind having less money in your account for a few days...
Absolutely gutted, seen this desserts place advertised on Facebook. We decided to get dessert after a rocky week. How stressful! Ordered online, failed transaction as restaurant hasn't picked up order do you want to try again, your card will not be charged.... Tried again, same message, third time lucky? Nope because card has been declined? Why because we have x2 pending transactions from them. A call to the restaurant gets diverted to a colleague who hasn't been with the company for months?!? Does not sound like a legit site now. Tried messaging them on Facebook.... heard nothing.... We are desertless, moneyless (for the next 7 days) phone bill for a 30 min phone call to Lloyds as well - attempting to get money back asap as not sure how were going to get petrol tomorrow.... Thanks guys! Night and of chill out and dessert has turned into a nightmare, which would have been better with some amount of communication from the place itself! Close to tears - please take heed and don't order from these fraudsters.
Fabulous desserts, excellent customer service over the phone and quick to deal with any issues. Waffles and cookie doughs arrive at my door as if they just left the oven, and milkshakes to die for as they’re made fresh not tubbed. Highly recommended one of a kind ????
Ordered the Ferrero rocher cookie dough along with a few shakes and a kinder heaven waffle. Order arrived promptly. Taste & quality of ingredients was outright better than Creams. Portion sizes were Just enough not to feel sickly and at a reasonable Price. All of this While Sitting at home warm in Bed. Cant ask for more really!! Definetley a New regular :)
Had high hopes but really disappointed. Took well over an hour for 2 milkshakes and 1 waffle. We literally live down the road so can't see travelling taking up time. As for the food itself, the waffle was cold and milkshakes were half the size of the McDonald's ones yet twice the price! Won't be using again.
Absolutely in love with pretty much everything on the LICKX menu. Have placed an order everyday so far from opening a few days ago. Highly recommend the fresh cakes & American waffles. This is just what Coventry needed, fresh high quality desserts delivered direct to our doors without lifting a finger!
