Poor quality seafood, not as I was expecting. There was prawns and shrimp in our platter but most of the items are surimi based in various forms (shredded ocean stick, shredded ocean stick with prawns, shredded ocean stick with marie-rose sauce) and fake surimi lobster tails.
Prices are way too much for what you get.
Mixed seafood platter was excellent value for money, food was very fresh, tasty and presentation was 100%
Service was great too.

I felt like it was very overpriced and didn't taste fresh (as in it tasted like it had been defrosted). I may be wrong but my local seafood bar in London gets their stuff fresh from billingsgate market (unfortunately that's closing now) and you could taste the freshness. Also I could get triple for the amount I paid at Leysdown.
That being said I wouldn't say it was terrible or tasted bad. I've just had better at better prices.
Also the girl and man serving were lovely so not a bad word to say about staff themselves.

Got some cockles from there yesterday and the whole time I was being served the guy was chatting to somebody else on the phone which I thought was rude but happy to let that go but when I got my cockles home and tried to eat them they were full of grit so they haven't been cleaned properly and there was a hair in the sealed tub absolutely disgusting had to put it all in the bin will definitely not be going back there again
Excellent seafood, so tasty and staff very knowledgeable and helped me out. Wish I lived closer then I’d be here everyday (lol)
great seafood at the best prices all looks so fresh and is layed out to a high standard the staff are very polite there aswell i will defo be going back
