Heard and read great reviews about Leon's and had to go to Gainsborough today from Sheffield. I rang Leon's when we were 17mins away and placed an order, as it would be nearly closing time when we arrived, he was an absolute star, no hesitation he took our order and when we got there, we weren't disappointed... absolutely gorgeous fish and chips. Will definitely be making more trips to Leon's for fish and chips in the future.
Great fish and chips always cooked when ordering which guarantees crunchy batter.
First time at Leon's for me as I live near Barnsley - just had fish n chips an they were excellent! Have tried a couple of "places" no more "fishing" around - in future just go to Leons

The best there is in Gainsborough by far, everything is cooked to order and is definately worth waiting for. Prices are very reasonable and is probably the best fish you will ever taste.
Love this chippy. You can order and collect. They often have specials on the go such as fish and chip with whatever side and a drink £4.50. All freshly cooked. I would highly recommend you give this chippy a try.
CHANGE OF EXPERIENCE
Went to place an order by phone, as we always do, often! Was told that we could do this but would have to queue like everyone else! As it is Friday and he's extremely busy.
It meant that if I placed my order for 5pm (I called at 4.30 as I always do) but had to queue for 15 minutes, my food would be cold? He replied 'correct'!
So my custom is good enough for you any other day of the week which mostly range from £25 to £50 each order but not on a Friday!
So we went elsewhere to a lovely fish and chip shop that do much more called Trinity Fish Bar where the food was just as good, just as hot and just the right price.
Sometimes some business owners don't want your custom!! He was rude.
