They only took cash and lady was keen to say they were shutting imminently.
Man told me to drive further along to find a cash machine - after driving for 6 more miles in pitch black I returned home and then went to Deep Blue instead. I'll try again and edit this review if the food is good.
First, the lady who served me was fantastic and a real example of good customer service. I was immediately impressed.
Sadly though the food wasn’t quite at the same standard. The sausage batter was dreadful. Flat, burnt and tasted frankly disgusting. I ‘think’ the sausage may have been nice but could just taste the batter. The chips were ‘ok’ but far too greasy for my liking.
I’m hoping this isn’t the norm as never used before but a poor show on food!
Keep up the incredible customer service.
Best chippy in Norfolk for taste and quality they use butchers sausages and burgers.

By far the best chippy in the area. Excellent service and superb fish and chips.
After a long trek around Roarr our bellies were rumbling so we googled chip shop and this little delight popped up. The service was fantastic but the food was even better especially as next door is a butcher with local produce and they used them for the burgers and battered sausages yum. The chips were delicious. Cash is king and that's all they accept and it was reasonably priced.
I have been getting my F&Cs from this place for a long time, really good food but the portion sizes have gotten really small, so few chips in a portion. prices have also really crept up. One evening I ordered 2 large cods and I think they just gave me one small and charged me the same…. One of the cod was almost twice the size of the other, not on!
All good except they only take cash no cards
The portions sizes are ridiculous. They have been getting smaller and smaller whilst putting up prices. Today got the family large chips and fish cake each. Chips were less than a handful (not exaggerating). We ended up driving into Taverham after eating our tiny portions to get more fish and chips from another place. Hugely disappointing, inconvenience and extra expense. Such a shame
