I ordered Sarma and Leith Mix d BBQ this time and dined in. The lamb, chicken and wings were very succulent. The flavour was delicious. The Sarma wasn’t too vinegary . I had a wonderful experience. I ordered mixed shawarma wrap takeaway last time. Very Mediterranean style. Delicious!
The Kurdish guy work the so friendly and Great testy food, ???? best take way in the town and try the Kurdish bread it’s yummy ????
Disappointing, overpriced, frustratingly stingy. Chicken wrap - see photo :(
Did i order the kids portion for adult price? Why even bother boxing it in a box double its size?
Meat "Ftayer" option is actually a greasy cheese pizza with some "very few" old burnt cuts - see picture.
Want a much much better shawarma? Go to nearby Slemany grillhouse. You're welcome. You want a regular shish, chips or grill? Go to Leith best kebab house. Pfffttt. There should be a ban on using Shawarma name on disappointing wraps.

From 2 to 4 stars
Looks like they listened to all the feedback and there was an improvement in quality, taste and portion size. I wouldn't recommend the meat Shawerma as it is usually more chewy fat than meat.
Easy the best Shwarma we ever had
Mixed option gives you in my opinion the best experience.
Lamb great!
Flavoursome, nice charring on that.
Chicken nice and juicy.
They don’t overload it with salad and sauces.
Just a right ratio.
For 10£ in current world it’s a great value too.
Will be coming back very often from now on
Keep it up boys!!
Stopped in after a day out at the Rugby, we ordered the chicken wrap and the mixed chicken and lamb pizza which was just what we needed. Food was ready quick enough that you knew it was not lying out and had been made fresh while we were in store.
Food tasted amazing, prices were reasonable for the portion size and quality. Would definitely come back for food again.
The best shawarma in Edinburgh, I think in the whole United Kingdom... very clean, very high quality, very friendly... I highly recommend it.
Nice guys working there but probably the worst shawarma on Leith Walk. Had at least three bites where there was so much fat/gristle I couldn’t chew through the meat - isn’t the point of slow cooking something on a rotisserie that you avoid that? The only excuse I can think of is that they’re using super low quality cuts of lamb. Maybe ok if you’re really drunk and want something late at night otherwise there are several better options nearby
I had a Leith Shawarma plate. I now realise that this is for sharing.
It's a lot, seriously a lot.
I also ordered vine leaves which I've eaten before but these were really tasty.
The sauces were in little pots which meant that you put in what you want.
The order also includes bread and hummus. Bread made in front of me and the hummus so tasty with a good flavour tahini flavour.
I actually finished this for lunch the next day so certainly was great value.
