Great little placed tucked away about 2 miles from the main road. Nice choice of food and a good selection of teas. Only downside is they don't take card payments, however there is a post office at the back of the shop to withdraw cash. Worth a stop of passing by.
Cake portions are very small and not a treat..coffee mainly froth ! Portions are a demonstration of owners budgeting rather than a pleasant eating experience..overall very stingy. 'Goodfood' award has gone to their heads and there is nothing here that justifies such an award compared to other places in Lincolnshire. Tearooms in Leadenham and also Fulbeck both serve stingy portions and if one gets away with is so will the other !!
...disappointing and must be on a tight budget ! It's time someone pointed it out to stop both Tearooms overcharging everyone for such small cake portions..ridiculous !
Excellent pear, Stilton and walnut salad for lunch today....the goats cheese version also looked good.....Stokes smooth coffee and a comfortable seat in the fresh air, and little passing traffic ...what more could you want?
The Leadenham Teahouse is a remarkably cosy and pleasant place to enjoy a well made coffee, delightful tea, excellent food and the most incredible cakes ever! Situated in the Lincolnshire village of Leadenham, the teahouse has grown in popularity with locals and not so locals too. The ladies who run the tea-house always greet with a smile and are very welcoming.
There are also various ranges of gifts, cards & flowers, an outdoor barn shop, outdoor seating and benches along with the Village Post Office tucked away at the back.
The Teahouse & Post Office is right next to a small field containg some sheep and they are opposite an historical green space called Nun's Close which has some delightful Lambs growing up.
Highly recommended. Please do support it when you are next in the Village.
Quaint, popular little place, parking just a short walk away.
Food menu looked lovely as did the cakes and pastries.
Extensive range of exotic teas which were wonderful. Coffee great too, as were the cheese scones.
Small card and gift shop on the premises but a little pricey. There was a useful and used post office at the back.
Very clean.
Had an amazing lunch of savoury scone with salad, generous serving and absolutely delicious. Topped off with a spectacular lemon meringue tart and a beautiful tea. We'll definitely be visiting again! Highly recommended!????
Absolute gem !
What a lovely place to have happened upon.
On a long journey from Yorkshire to Norfolk we were amazed to find this superb little tea house.
The two sisters who run it (with mum in the post office at the rear!) were a complete delight.
The very generous salads we had sitting outside in the sun were perfect.
I wish them much success, they deserve recognition for all the hard work and love they obviously put into making this the perfect little place it is.
What a gem of a teahouse to be found in this pretty village. Owned and run by Katie and Kirsty this a definite place to visit, very welcoming, they are not always free to chat if they are busy, but If you like freshly ground coffee made to order and an array of teas along with home made cakes and savouries you won't be disappointed. The daily lunch specials are prepared to order with fresh ingredients and are something you would find in the city. Also there is a gift shop, fresh flowers most weeks and the post office all in one area what more could you want. Added bonus at this time of the year are the sheep and lambs. Also there is outdoor seating. What a great place.
