Serving a burger on a slate, making it impossible to eat
Chip containers were all chipped and rusted on the edges
It was a decent meal but will not be visiting again
5 stars because the food and service were great - had a soft shell crab burger and it was YUM. Really enjoyed the meal and waitress was super friendly. Would come back sometime to try the lobster roll.
What a lovely place great service very accommodating, the food filling and flavoursome. I had the lobster roll, cheesy chips Mac and cheese and a complementary drink.
such a lovely spot! food was delicious especially the prawn tempura starter. they do a great deal of any lobster roll + drink + fries for £19, highly recommend! also really good service, nice people :))
Everything was lovely x I said to my husband no point going out for a roast dinner when I can cook that myself. I said I want lobster and he found this! They showed us the whole lobster before we ate it and it was cooked perfectly and served with perfect sides! The sauces the drinks all unique and homemade and the truffle fries too - all nice. Blue cheese burger my husband had was really good as were the tempura prawns etc etc .. we will be back and esp for any events.. well done and great to have proper service x
Great little place to either eat in or take away. Delicious lobster rolls with lemon zest and perfectly toasted buns. Owner was in and was incredibly friendly. The French fries were also flavorful and well cooked. If you’re in the mood for a lobster roll I’d highly recommend coming here.
Came here with my kids and it was lovely. Really nice friendly but attentive vibe and a kind of diner feel. The half lobster was good value for money as it came with a decent portion of chips and a lovely salad. Just one suggestion - it would have been great to have those little lobster tools to help you get the gorgeous meat out of every bit of shell :)
