Best KPortal Reviews

Generally very good.
1 member of staff seemed a little put out that we asked not to be sat at our table before our friends arrived.
This aside everything was very good. Even when a plate arrived wrong it was dealt with swiftly. Restaurant is very spacious, the garden area is fantastic. Well worth a visit.
Seriously good food. Wood pigeon for my starter, lamb with a mango puree of some sort, fantastic! For desert, cheesecake was sublime, not too much biscuit base which makes a pleasant change.
It's nice to eat at a restaurant where the dishes served are like something out of a masterchef final, without having to organise a bank loan.
All very posh, clientèle are dressed up nicely. This is definitely a cloth napkin kind of restaurant, no paper napkin style here!
We've already booked a table for five for next Friday - not often I put that in a review.
We all had the taster menu and had the paired wine which really complemented the great food, my highlight was the bass with shrimp and crab, really tasted the saffron coming through, photos do not do this justice, wood pigeon was also very tasty
Fantastic Service, Food and Experience at this Restaurant, after a cold morning at the nearby horse riding stables (Children’s Riding Experience) that was fantastic, we found this lovely restaurant that found us a table quickly despite no booking and even though we were the first.
Had a bit of trepidation as it was empty (was before 12) but we were soon relieved to get nice quick / courteous / amusing service from a nice bunch of service staff and quicky cooked / delivered amazing food (had a 3 course set menu for £25.
They catered very well for two children (a fussy and not so fussy 9 year old). Food was first rate and would definitely recommend, service of 10% is added to the bill but was so happy we left more. Go there you wont be disappointed
Excellent takeaway roast dinner with canapes desserts and cocktails. Friendly staff and we'll managed drive through system. Definitely going back for more
Attended a party in the private function room on Friday 18th November. The food was good but as with any large booking the standard isn't going to be as good as it would be for a more personal booking. 4* awarded as it had a hint of 'volume production', which (basically) it was. Had ham hock starter, basil tagliatelli for main and cheesecake for dessert. The ham hock was flavoursome, the tagliatelli was decent enough, however, the dessert was slightly bland. Recommended.
Everything about this place is top-notch - food, service, atmosphere. And excellent value - £70 for a Michelin-star quality three-course lunch for two is simply a bargain
The food here is delicious, very good quality. The setting is beautiful and the restaurant itself is lovely and clean and well presented.
It would have been 5 stars had it not been for the long wait for food in between courses. Don't get me wrong, worth the wait, but there was only two other tables in there, and it was a weekday lunch time. We will definitely be back however, I can't fault the food or the service, both were fantastic. Staff are friendly and attentive too.
