Absolutely had a fantastic Sunday lunch, after recovering from an injury, my first time put for a long time the owners, Jess could not accommodate me enough! Made me so so welcome, great food, wholesome, fresh vegetables, atmosphere one of the best I have found in such a long time!! Great place many thanks
This popular bar/restaurant has established a fine reputation over several years amongst the (predominantly) ex-pat British clientèle, who come from far and wide to enjoy a warm welcome, good service and excellent food.
On the two occasions we have visited, we were perfectly satisfied with our experience.
We went for Sunday Lunch a fortnight ago. Turned up without booking but they still welcomed us, gave us a quiet table and let us join in the carvery despite being late. The food was excellent - 3 choices of meat, all the vegetables well cooked, large PROPER Yorkshire puddings, savoury gravy, cauliflower cheese and refills if you wanted. No limits! The staff are very friendly, English and most of the customers were also English. A lovely little touch of Home for us Ex-pats (Epinay le Compte is a small but pretty village, between Passais la Conception and Gorron, so easy to find and convenient to drive).
