Best KPortal Reviews
Lovely cafe in the heart of Canterbury.
The space inside is not a lot but there is a large covered terrace where it’s very pleasant to enjoy a meal or a drink. The food we ordered was nice, but the waiting time was quite long I would say (half an hour for some eggs).
Nice cakes and teas too. I would stop again in a less busy day.
Dog friendly.
Great coffee.
Lovely decor, friendly staff, good menu. Nice historic location. Top tip - you need to try the cakes, best in Canterbury! Extra top top - try the chocolate orange cake, you won’t regret it.
Been here a couple times now and it’s been so consistently great value for money I feel obliged to go out of my way to write a positive review. Normally a review is just full of complaints but this coffee is probably the top 3 I’ve ever had.
Found this lovely little cafe by accident but so glad we did! Had the halloumi sandwich (gluten free) and my friend had the feta and beetroot salad. Both dishes looked and tasted amazing. We then had the caramel apple pie (also gluten free). You have to have it warm as the caramel starts to melt into the apple and combined with a dusting of cinnamon it is absolutely divine!!
Lovely place, atmosphere and food was delicious ???? great prices.
Wonderful find on our day in Canterbury. Coffee was spot on and the cakes delicious. Open and warm staff willing to chat and agree with the bits that the caramel apple tart was the best option.
Amazing atmosphere and interior theme.
The homemade desserts are delectable and the coffee isn't too bad either.
The Cuban bagel was fairly good, however there was wayy too much mustard it completely overpowered the other ingredients. Also could tell it was pre-made and put into a microwave lol. Not awful though.
First visit to this establishment. On a Wednesday morning it was peacefully quiet. The coffee was divine - not like Costa/Nero/Starbucks, etc. Food was not sampled, but the cakes did look gorgeous! (who needs cakes just after Christmas?!!)
