My dad brought be back a piece of their Bakewell slices which survived a 6 hour car journey and it was Lovley ????????
Some donuts ect can be dry but sandwiches are very nice. Pastries are lovely. Staff are great. If you go in with multiple orders written down its all made fresh and given out in a timely manner. Staff are lovely
Normally really good but today they half heated a sausage roll for me and Iv bin spewing up all afternoon ????♂️
Must try the Honey Cake there… One of the tastiest cakes I’ve had. Light, fluffy, moist, an absolute must, even if you don’t like sweets like me
Good deli with medium, large and giant pasties. Giant are huge!
Love this place, great quality of savoury & sweet, and if you haven't tried their honey cake your missing out!
We have been visiting for years but have noticed on the last few occasions the quality of the Pasties has deteriorated. Yesterday was the worst; we ordered one giant and one large. The vegetables were undercooked, there was literally a tea spoon of tough meat per pastie and the pastry was dry and over cooked. In summary inedible.
Prices are inevitably higher BUT quality has deteriorated badly. Such a shame but I don’t believe ours was a one off or bad batch, I believe a combination of complacency and poor quality control.
We followed the reviews for the best Cornish pasty and to our dismay had only an average experience. The chicken pasty I had was not that great. We weren't allowed to eat in due to c-19 and the taste of the pasty wasn't that great either. Overall, we had a disappointing experience!
