We visit regularly with our little boy, we love it! We’ve been again today, so welcoming and friendly. Everything is homemade, they are on the go all day making sausage rolls etc. Absolutely delicious! Also really good value for money and generous portions. Thank you ????
Have passed this little place numerous times but never stopped. Looking for somewhere to enjoy a coffee on a Sunday afternoon, we called in here and enjoyed a lovely latte and coffee and walnut cake. Delicious, well presented and very reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again.
Driven past many times and decided to pop in today to see how it is, very nice. Cosey and quiet for a nice drink and some cake. The theme is very nice, like stepping back in time. Its a good way to just escape modern life for a bit and relax over a tea or coffee. Very friendly and welcoming staff!
I took Mother in law out for lunch. It was my wife's idea to come here, and it was a good one. The food was really good, the freshly cooked full breakfast was one of the best, and the home-made cake was delicious. The staff were really friendly and helpful - one portion of cake cut in half on 2 plates wasn't an issue at all. Really enjoyed it and will be going back as the cream tea is calling me.
Went on a Sunday, was relatively full but not busy by any means. Order was taken, sausage roll, sandwiches, drinks. Spent 25+ minutes waiting for drinks alone, then a few minutes more for food.
Sausage roll was totally forgotten, so before leaving I'd asked if I could get it to go, which was another 5 minute process as the staff member had to wrestle with the relic of a till used to take orders.
We overheard a mixup on a table behind us, and another while I was at the till before leaving. Not surprised there's so many blunders as the process of taking orders seems chaotic, easily messed up and archaic.
Food was fantastic and staff were apologetic, but I'd not return unless I'd heard the ticketing system was changed.
We fancied a nice cup of tea and a scone so decided on Lauretta’s, really glad we did! Small cafe but a good choice on the menu from breakfast to afternoon tea.
Good size tea pot for two people (very important!) and delicious home made scones.
Nice hosts and very accommodating.
They also sell bits and bobs like cards & crafts, plus eggs at a very reasonable price.
Also bought two yummy sausage rolls to takeaway, mmmm mmm!
We're passed this place so many times but never ventured inside until now. What a wonderful place! Unpretentious, genuinely charming, fabulous food, delightful surroundings, and wonderful staff - it's a perfect café!
We'll definitely be visiting here again! ????❤️????????
We go every week because food latte's and atmosphere are brilliant. Never had a bad meal. Highly recommend you pay a visit. You won't be disappointed. Jim and Alison
