Beautiful place, but it was very easy to get lost! A lot to see, so many routes and highlights. I covered about 6 miles of countryside fields and then the Dale to the river. I parked at toilets, the car park gave my car a nasty bang as I drove in so becareful. It was quite muddy so wear boots, there is some areas of light scrambling as it gets very rocky. Everything is beautifully moss covered, so many photo ops.

Lathkill Dale is a total gem

Depending on the way you enter you pass endless waterfalls , plus batemans house & water pump head over the bride that you see in the video , Go down the ladder that sits behind the house and see magic of the water pump .

Beautiful walk, I would highly recommend this hike , it's not a busy place so you can enjoy it with the odd couple passing you or small groups . Find me on insta at Inspirational_ninni for more Adventure and photos .

Stunning location for a walk. Did a 3 hour hike up in to the valley in a circular route.

Water’s are beautiful. No swimming here, a few years ago you could.

Great walk, (4hrs long) beautiful surroundings, it rained when we went so watch out for slippy rocks. The toilets were open. Would recommend, good for all levels and great for dogs.

Beautiful hiking area around the dales. Walk through farm fields and eventually reach a beautiful, clean stream. You can also find parking outside the car park which can save you around £6. Well worth a visit.

Lovely walk along this peaceful valley. The water is crystal clear and you have to visit the ruined Bateman's House to understand the mining history of the area. It's worth bearing in mind that due to the protected status of the valley dogs must stay on a lead and out of the water.

Nice place for a walk the terrain is quite muddy when it has been raining and there is also some steep rock type paths so wearing boots is wise.

Seen a few wild birds here falcons as an example. Very cool place if you are in the area well worth a walk in the park it can be a long walk as well so a water bottle on a hot day is a good choice.

A walk in nature is always nice, especially when the views are awesome! Definitely recommend this place for a long walk on a partially uneven footpath (almost to the east end).
