You get to witness the preparation of these pulled noodles right before your eyes, ensuring their freshness with each order. The beef brisket, my personal favorite, is consistently delightful, boasting tenderness and an abundance of flavor. The portion sizes are generous, almost miraculous at times, and occasionally, you may find yourself sharing tables due to the restaurant's popularity. Despite its old-fashioned ambiance, which may not be conventionally appealing, the allure of the delicious food draws crowds. While it's worth noting they only accept cash, given the quality and pricing, I'm more than willing to oblige. Additionally, they offer refreshing cucumber salads and milk tea with tapioca pearls to complement your meal.
Never try this place! One of my friends recommended this place as he knows I like Chinese food. I ordered noodles beef brisket with broth. Packaging was good but taste was awful!! I tried many different ramen types and never had that bad experience. Meat was full of fat and red. Beef taste was very bad and noodles wasn’t cooked enough. The bowl was full with noodles and little bit beef. Usually they put many different vegetables inside soup. Price for that portion was good but quality was zero. I think someone should check the hygiene for this place.
Absolutely amazing noodles and soup. The portion is massive for the price and quality. The meat is halal! They also do some amazing bubble tea and similar drinks. I'm looking forward to coming again and I'll bring a bigger appetite ????
Beef brisket noodle soup is the best I've had in the UK! Fresh hand pulled noodles, soft and tender beef and sensational soup! Can not fault it! No need to order a drink! Portion size is massive! So be sure you're hungry (or a big eater). This is just a diner / cafeteria type restaurant, go to counter to place order, you get a ticket with your order number, so listen out for it when the chef shouts it out. He says it in mandarin and English. You go pick it up at the kitchen counter, along with your cutlery, add chilli oil if require. When finished, just leave :)
The amount of food is generous compared to the price that you pay. While the food was great, the service was slightly confusing as they shout the order number in Chinese so could be easily missed. However you can watch the noodles being hand stretched in front of you.
First time to here, very delicious and authentic Lanzhou Noodle. Great portion size. Will definitely come back again.
It's like a hidden gem in Southampton, you’ve got to check it out! Is a small family-run business in Southampton, the noodles are perfectly chewy and the beef is so tender it falls apart at the touch of your fork. The staff were so sweet and understanding, they were very patient and polite! Even offered me a solution when my fav cucumber salad was sol out! But what really blew me away was the generous serving size - it’s perfect for sharing or taking home for leftovers. And the best part! It won’t break the bank!
Amazing food. Very authentic. Huge portions, small price. Superb fresh and delicious noodles ????. People who are working there are nice and friendly. We'll defo come back.
