At such a stunning location the bar/cafe should be one of its strongest points. Unfortunately we didn't stay on a sat evening so didn't see any entertainment but it could all do with sprucing up and tidying. Happy kids but just not hygienic enough. The decking outside provides a platform for wonderful views but just isn't clean. Everywhere needs a sweep and the tables outside need a good spray and wipe!
The food was good quality, with a full English in the morning and decent homemade grub in the evenings.
Great location, good choice of beers with lager in chilled glasses, nice touch. Good good value for money and cooked perfectly. Staff in the bar and restaurant were super efficient, very friendly with brilliant interaction with customers. Tables cleared and cleaned to an high standard and made ready for next customer quickly and efficiently. No negatives from us. Pass on our thanks and appreciation to your excellent staff. Lovely lakeside bar and restaurant. Stunning views of Croft Farm waterpark. You can sit in, enjoy the lovely views from the veranda or venture out on the grass. We spent most of the day in the sunshine hopping in and out, enjoying Lavazza coffee (lovely!), a variety of Kelly’s icecream including rocky road (delicious!), cookies and cream, bubblegum (a kids fave!) and candy floss flavours. Later we enjoyed meals including loaded fries of beef chilli, and one with tomato and mushroom (so underrated as I would call it “margarita mushroom pizza chips!” as the tomato base was full of Italian herbs and so moreish we had to order a second helping). Prices were also really competitive and less than we were expecting for a holiday destination. Thanks to all the friendly, helpful and entertaining team! :-)

First experience here for long weekend. Food is basic 'cafe' food but I wasn't here for top nosh food. Bar was small but seemed well stocked. Staff all friendly and helpful.
Vast choice of water sport activities. I tried wind surfing with a two hour taster session which really enjoyed and was well thought through. Instructor was clear and really helpful, could see what I was doing and placed well for seeing where I was going wrong. Very much recommend giving lessons ago if are beginner.
Camping facilities all good, clean and easily located shower/toilet facilities etc.
Amazing location and view. Such lovely staff, so helpful and no need to ask for anything they are there attending to your every need. Menu is simple and greatly priced. If you want to walk in, sit down and just simply relax i highly recommend. Will be returning regularly and recommending highly!
Site great for camping and caravanning, bar and cafe, can't say how it is each time we went over it was not serving food to non private customers, not neglecting we paid to be there , so check if they have hired out to others or eat out.

While its a business they charge to use facilities then you can't use them.
Would I come again.
No just because we couldn't use food facility or bar area due to what I will only say greed.
