Good value for money. I had a good piadina and a fresh baguette. I really liked the Indian bread and I burgers look great.
It's newly renovated and the service is great, there are not many eateries around, maybe a couple and they all look unreasonably expensive. La verde is perfect if you don't want anything fancy.
I like this place and have eaten here many times.
The staff are always friendly and super helpful, plus the restaurant itself has never been too busy or crowded at the evenings I’ve been here.
As a vegetarian the varied choices available are pretty good and the portions are always sizeable, which is an additional bonus!
Nice place for a quiet lunch. We have arrived around 11 and there was a few people finishing late breakfast, their lunchtime didn't seem busy unless it fills up later. Atmosphere is OK, would sit there for long.
I've been here a few times in the past years but the standards have dropped when I visited last night. Food was average and prices have increased so it wasn't worth what we paid (£14.95 for five wings, some corn, fries and a tiny bit of coleslaw). The food tasted like a ready meal you'd buy from the supermarket. Disappointing really.
This place is really affordable but the food tastes like frozen/microwave type and the decor is really tacky. The service is also pretty poor. So, all in all, it's good for a cheap English breakfast or a cheap pasta lunch but the quality reflects the price - it's not very fresh.

Really nice and relaxed atmosphere. They're currently going through a change of menu and system so not just Italian food now; they also server chilli, nachos, burgers fish etc. Prices are very good and the burgers taste really nice.
We are bunch friends that go to this cafe regularly for breakfast lunch dinner you name it the service is excellent and the food is really good I'm not sure why people have even complained about the food as it's always up to standards, if it ever has fallen below it is always resolved and I say if it ever has which in my case has never. Anyway keep up the good work la verde see you again soon.
