Absolutely fabulous special birthday meal for my father-in-law. Food was perfectly cooked. Scallops, monkfish & tarte au citron thoroughly enjoyed. My husband had beef fillet which melted in the mouth. Service was perfect

Great food, steak was perfectly cooked, fish soup amazing taste and the wine selection was fabulous! Like being taken back to 1990's inside, I'm not even sure the menu has changed that much since then. However when it tastes this good, why bother? Excellent service, a little slow, but to be expected for a big group of us. Recommended!
Been coming here once or twice a year for nearly 30 years now. Always really good. Limited menu, but quality and value superb. Great steaks, great fish and sublime puddings.
Incredible ambiance and food! Very personalised service with the most delicious wines and cheeses on offer. No vegetarian option really but absolutely delicious in every other way!
We had an absolutely delicious meal here. It does feel like you are eating in someone's front room in France, but this adds to the charm. Highly recommended for special occasions.
This restaurant is a lovely place, welcoming and tranquil. Food excellent, mine host so pleasant. Been many times and we will keep going.
