The staff and the atmosphere were great. Not a great food experience however. The starters were okay (guacamole and yuca fries). But the beef tacos were too fat and the shrimp one a bit dry (well presented and nice-looking though). After three bites we wanted to stop.
Me quedé con un mal sabor de boca. Lamentablemente el servicio por parte de la mesera que me atendió fue pésimo, ordene tacos y especifique sin cebolla y llego con pedazos de cebolla (la removí sin problema) ordene agregar tomate y jamás llego el tomate, mis tacos se enfriaron y no disfruté lamentablemente nada. En el turno de medio día era solo una mesera para todo el restaurante no recomiendo. Quizás solo para beber algo y listo.
The vibe & ambiance, the food and flavors, the staff and service - this place is absolutely delightful and is adding so much to the Lausanne restaurant scene. Being from California and living in CH for over a decade, I've missed authentic Mexican cuisine - most places steer clear of spice or too much flavor...not here. You can order anything from the menu and not be disappointed. Walter & Jasmine and the team have figured it out.
Amazing Latin American food full of delicious flavours. The place has a great vibe too, and the service is decent enough as well. Would definitely recommend a visit!
Went on Saturday evening and arrived a bit early but was seated right away. Vibe was just starting up around 20:00 so if you want to go and don't have a reservation certainly go earlier. Great space, love the decor with the ambiance. Service was super friendly and inviting. Food was fun, creative and delicious. Had the corn and chicken drumsticks (chicken is spicy so be warned for those sensitive palates), shrimp tacos and the short rib tacos (full of flavour). Loved the beverage offerings and lots of tequila or mezcal to pick from. Had a couple different cocktails and slightly too sweet but that was an easy fix (but we're definitely spirit forward ????). Overall we had a great time and didn't want to leave. Keep with the vibes and fun music please.
L'ambiance est très sympa et le serveur gentil.
En entrée : Le civuche était cuit alors que c'est censé être cru, le guacamole n'avait rien de spécial et nous avons déjà eu mieux ailleurs
En plat : les tacos sont chers, il n'y en a que 3 pour environ 28 chf même si c'est très travaillé.
En dessert : Glace au pop corn et dolce de leche très bon mais le churros était très gras et lourd et on avait l'impression qu'il a été cuit avec de l'huile réutilisé un peu trop longtemps
Les boissons : le spritz était très bon pour 10 CHF mais les verres de vins servis n'étaient pas assez froid...
Pour les plats il faut en prendre beaucoup car si on n'avait pris que 3 tacos on aurait encore eu très très faim.
Nous donnons 4 étoiles pour l'ambiance et les tacos très travaillés mais 1 étoile en moins pour le prix et le reste des entrées et desserts pas fou et l'addition monte très vite .
Très bon restaurant. Entrées à partager au top. Plats très bons mais très gras (trop). Déco très sympa et originale. Ambiance très bruyante mais le service est au top et aux petits soins! Big up à Andy ainsi qu’à son équipe pour leur job formidable! Les prix ne sont pas donnés mais à refaire.
Went here for dinner and had a good time. The food is nice, in particular the chicken appetiser. Tacos are nice and portions are pretty generous. The staff is very friendly and took good care of us.
Only downside for me is that it is very noisy so it was difficult to have a conversation with people around the table.
