Best KPortal Reviews

Lovely italian restaurant in Verbier. I basically visitef everyday during my stay in march, to enjoy their amazing pasta, tapas, sunny deck and cool bar. Cool staff, cool locals to hang out with. Must go.
Un lloc encantador, molt arreglat i agradable. Els cambrers molt simpàtics i atents. Parlen diversos idiomes. Preu correcte. Tot a favor per tornar.
I ordered burrata with spaghetti and panzanella. The panzanella looks nothing like panzanella (they stuck a few salad leaves into soggy bread?) and there were 3 strands of spaghetti noodles (made out of zucchini) with the burrata. When it arrived, I thought the orders were completely wrong, or it was a practical joke. I expected an entire plate of spaghetti noodles, but the dish is a huge ball of cheese covered in green sauce. The panzanella was served very cold, not hot as they stated. I asked for a full refund and protested for several minutes about eating the food, but shockingly the staff was angry that I was angry and begged me to eat it and pay for it. I had the panzanella (very cold and sour, luckily I didn’t get any food poisoning) and a fruit pie. The pie tart was a standard sugary dessert, but I ordered it since I couldn’t eat the rest of the food. It was a small, overly sweet, and way overpriced slice at 14 CHF, the typical price of a full pie. They had me pay for the pie and panzanella, but only after I had to correct their original bill which charged me for the burrata that I didn’t touch. They did apologize for the misunderstanding about the spaghetti burrata. My dining experience: sitting there for more than half an hour (when I wanted to leave right after the food arrived) for bottled still water and cold, white, and stale bread since the staff was badgering me to eat, so it was 35 CHF total for water (bottled still water is still my favorite). I should have noticed the word “burrata” above “spaghetti” on the menu (picture attached), but “spaghetti” was the first word in the dish’s description, so I thought it was a spaghetti dish and not cheese which I dislike, and when I ordered, I told the waiter “spaghetti” as well, not “burrata,” and they didn’t correct me. The restaurant should have given the refund in the beginning, but they were rude about me eating and paying - they had even taken the burrata away to the kitchen but returned back with it and put it back on the other end of table ???? For me to just stare at and regret my life choices, I guess? Because it was several feet away where I could not reach it to eat it while seated, and I had already told them many times that I would not eat it. The still water didn’t taste like tap water, though.
Clearly our favorite restaurant in Verbier : real fantastic Italian food, amazing team for service, great terrasse and fair price. Perfect
