We booked a meal for our wedding for 14 people. Our experience was superb from the start. The table was set up in the function room with such care. The food was fabulous . The guests commented on how tasty it was. We recieved fantastic service from all the staff. Thank you for making our day extra special.
This was our first and only visit, and we are also Restaurant owners / Chefs
5 of us went for father's day 2017
3 enjoyed the food and 2 of us did not
but. all of us were not happy with the service, EXCEPT for 1 guy who ran down the street after us because we left a bracelet on the table.
We sat down early at 14:00 we ordered at 14:10 and we all only wanted a main and dessert
23 beef & 2 chicken dinners
our mains took 1 hour to come out (after other tables who ordered after us were served before)
We asked where our food was as we had to be at the train station at 16:02 for my sister to go back to London
finally our food arrived at around 15:10, we ate and then ordered dessert at 15:25
2 Ice Cream, 2 cheesecake and 1 other cake
we asked multiple times when the desserts would be brought out
Desserts were delivered at 15:50
We left after only having enough time to eat half of our desserts at 15:55
The only other positive was the guitar player of the day was very good.
Beautiful restaurant with fantastic food for a great price.. what more do you need. Really happy with our tapas. Forgot we were in neath for a while. They should be very proud of what they do here...will be returning soon
Visited for a 30th birthday as a party of 12 on Friday night. We did book to make sure we had a table, and it was busy there. Served quickly and everything was correct. Food was all really good! I had the duck which was delicious. Great restaurant in Neath
Very poor menu selection (vegetarian option was one pasta dish or a salad), meals were very expensive for what we had.
The vegetarian pasta consisted of over cooked pasta and almost raw vegetables, the potatas bravas was chips with a tomato sauce and I dropped a piece of Spanish omelette and it's probably still bouncing around now.
Lovely setting but an overall disappointing expensive experience.
We had a fabulous two course meal last Wednesday night. I felt the menu choices were really good. Honestly did not expect such a high standard, will definitely be back!
Visited La Mancha last night for my Birthday Meal. When booking i stated it was a birthday celebration. Upon arrival we were presented with the menu. The menu had changed from our previous visit 6mths ago. It was very limited, more like a lunch time menu than a dinner menu. It was very limited, beef chicken or fish. There were no steaks available on the menu. Desserts were very limited. I complained and was told they are closing the brasserie and changing it to an Indian Restaurant. They are clearly running it down. There were all of 2 waitresses there. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone at this time. I was upset as this was a special celebration and was annoyed that when i made the booking i wasnt informed of this, having told them it was a birthday celebration. Thanks La Mancha for ruining my celebratory evening. Would def not recommend this reataurant again.
Spent the afternoon here today watching the rugby!! Set menu. Nobody directing you to your table. French onion soup delicious. Chicken chasseur not good. Sides were overcooked and uneatable. Dessert was ok but the sauce had been there so long it was stuck to the plate.. Best part was cheese and biscuits with glass of wine at half time. Bar staff tried their best but took 10 to 15 mins to be served.
