Our favourite restaurant in Exeter. Authentic tapas cooked by a native Spaniard - a true home cooked look and taste to the dishes! Very reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend tucking into a jar of olives, some of the best I’ve ever tasted.
The service was good when it happened but the guy was on his own which made it slow in places.
The food was ok but I couldn't work out why the mushrooms came with one little slice of bread when there were two of us at the table.
The croquettes were very tasty but the portion was small, especially when sharing.
The atmosphere was lacking because we were the only people in the restaurant.
A tip... Please get a coat hook near the tables, we had to try and fold out jackets up and place them on a round stool.
Summary... Tasty food.

Eaten here several times, when in town, and I can honestly say it is very good. The tapas are authentic and, more importantly for me, absolutely delicious. They have Cruzcampo on draft and the rioja I have tried was very enjoyable.
Staff are very friendly, welcoming and there is a nice, Spanish, feel to the place.
If you get the opportunity please give La Lola a visit. You will not be disappointed.
Truly a special find, very authentic restaurant. Food is top notch as was the service. Can't fault a thing looking forward to returning soon.
This is the most authentic spanish place I have ever been to in the entire country and I have been to a lot of places.
